As a a leafs fan I love this move
I'll celebrate when I see the AAV and the number of years. At least Dubas is gone so I doubt we will see another Tavares style overpay.
I didn't expect the Leafs Chris Tanev trade to come out of the Blue. He may be a good defender but my biggest concern is his injuries. What if he gets injured?

I love Tanev but if this team is going to win a round or two they need more than 1 or 2 goals a game. They need a splash offensively otherwise it’s just another first round exit.
