No Lundell, no huberdeau, and no knight. I would trade huby for a guy like tkatchuk, but that just isn't going to work, we'd be putting Calgary in the same situation that they are in now, huby will just leave for Montreal after next year. Big question though, is if we get tkachuk and after next year we want to keep him, huby is going to have to be let go, and some others too. A three way trade would probably be the only way this trade would work.

I don't think Zito has any interesting in resigning Huby. And why would he? I don't care how much Huby has done for this franchise, he's looking for Barkov type deal. You don't give a 30 year old that kind of contract, regardless of what hes done. It's financial suicide. Best case, the guys we brought in outperform their contracts, we go deep in playoffs, maybe win cup, then let Huby walk.

Happy Fames fan here… Chucky has the elite hands and hockey IQ…. but he skates like he is in sand…. this is his achilles. Only downside of this trade for Calgary is we are in the same spot at his time next year having to pony up or lose two top guys again.
