With Olli Juolevi expected to make a full return to pro hockey action next season, I’m asking you guys out there what your expectations are for the young Finnish defenceman. Does he stay with the Utica Comets? The Vancouver Canucks? Does he get called up? And for how long? There are many opinions to be shared.

If Olli's ceiling and potential pans out to be around the same as Jake Virtanen's, would we be satisfied? Is more riding on OL?
We don’t have Tkachuk I already consider Juolevi a bust. I have zero expectations, if he’s equivalent to stetcher I would be ecstatic.

First im hoping he stays off social Media, if Vancouver was laying into Dahlen, i can only imagine what they are saying to Juolevi. With Edler and Hutton expected to re-sign with the Canucks. I can see Juolevi possibly being the 7th defencemen and will play a bunch of games when Tanev gets hurt and we all know thats gonna happen. Now i read some of the comments and i read some of the hfboard comments about OJ and he seems to be terrible at 5on5 and he shines better on the PP, So i would like to see him quarterback the 2nd unit powerplay assuming Hughes quarterbacks the 1st unit and like to see him have some sheltered minutes mainly playing in the offensive zone. But to me he seems like a player Travis Green will hate……….
He's gonna get a fractured toe, groin injury and a concussion because that is how the Canuck players work.
He’ll make the roster next season.

I hoped the Nuks would have drafted Sergachev instead of Olli (because of his nastier demeanour). … Sergachev, McAvoy, Chychrun or Fabbro ?
If it was my decision, Juolevi would play in the NHL next season and we trade Hutton or Edler

Injuries happen. People imo are sleeping on joulevi. Yes he has his issues but they can be worked on. He’s a puck moving defenceman who’s specialty is breaking out of the zone (which is what we desperately need)

I think he may be given a chance in van but well end up in comets for start of season and probably Make his way up
I tore my Meniscus in November 2018 at my MMA gym, and it’s still not the same to this day. I know that feeling…. it really sucks
He’s under rated
As a Canucks hater im so happy they didn't pick Matt Tkachuk. Imagine this team with him on the roster! He's the perfect player for the team they are trying to be. Thanks Van for picking this Olli guy haha!

Oli Juolevi is probably going to be traded for someone like Moritz Seider or Nils Hoglander.

I think he’ll be good if he makes the opening night roster, even if he doesn’t make the roster, I think he’ll get the call up mid/ late season and turn some heads. I think hughes will be their main option going forward but he’ll be pretty good, I think his game did transition to North America well so I’m still confident that he’ll be pretty good
