If there’s not someone you really believe in on the board, it makes sense to move down and pick up more picks, so I don’t mind this

Sounds like we figure this is a shit draft from 24 down

Honestly quite happy with this. All the guys I really was hoping for in that spot were gone already. Utah has tons of 2nd and 3rd round picks so they can afford the price, and now we get three kicks at the can in the top 75. Win-win.

Yeah don’t hate this at all, stock those cupboards

I’m torn: The Avs got good value for this trade, but I really wanted Beaudoin or Letourneau. They both went immediately after the trade…

For a late first round pick, seems like pretty good value. I wouldn’t be surprised if these picks get traded before we make any day 2 picks tomorrow.

Really like that we got a 2nd for next year. Could very well flip that at the deadline for a valuable piece.

It’s nice to get more draft picks, but our history of drafting outside the first round has been pretty bad so I’m cautiously optimistic

Really good value, two 2nds and a 3rd for 24.

There were some good names available though. I’ll see how I feel after we make pick 38 tomorrow, see if someone falls there

Future trade bait? Biggest moment was Sennecke going third, was a shock! I’ve seen what he can do to raise Ritchies level of play, and the generals performance drop going into the London series when he got hurt and I get it. His reaction to going that high will be burned into my mind forever lol.

You gotta… know when to hold’em, know when to fold’em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run – sorry I’m high
