We still have a better chance of Guentzel rejecting the Canes offer and coming here than we do of landing Stamkos. And if not, I feel management will target somebody else instead (Toffoli likely, although I have a gut feeling with Teravainen)

Wasn’t there bad blood between him and toc? One of the reasons they moved on from Rick? Stammer was healthy scratched and not given PP time if I remember correctly.

Didn’t Stamkos commend the Canucks fans (or was it Cooper?) for acknowledging him hitting a milestone in Vancouver. Complimented them for their hockey knowledge.
Very Juve-esque when Ronaldo hit his crazy bicycle kick, then he later signed there.
Don’t know how much more he has to give, but he’d be a great finisher for Petey.

On Chiclets a few years ago Stamkos said Tocchet was a crucial part to him developing his game early in his career
Doesn’t mean anything other than Tocchet is a good coach
