Former NBA Player Craig Smith Says Bronny Is Ready For The NBA

you mentioned bronnie right so how do you feel about him coming out early after one year in college do you think he’d be a good Pro do you think he need to wait I like it yeah I mean he’s a son of LeBron James how he not gonna know the game how he not gonna know what’s going on all he had to do is ass his dad which is like the number one resource and to me LeBron James had the best NBA career ever facts you know what I’m saying he’s alltime leading scorer right he’s at the best NBA career you can have I think with bronnie you going have to we going have to be patient I think we can’t give him the the his father’s jacket and say he’s got to live up to this expectation I think over time he’ll be a really good player really good point guard well it’s going to be totally different Brony James for a reason and being of his stature and size he has to do things differently within the game absolutely and like he can be a really big problem like you know I’ve heard certain things of comparisons with Drew holid but in my regard I think bony might be and this is no disrespect his his shooting is really good at a younger age than Drews was I think Drew is a phenomenal shooter now but probably at that time I think Bonnie’s probably a little better of a shooter now yeah right you have that and he knows the game he’s played around pros and that’s what people don’t understand like the behind the scenes that goes because it goes for me people know I was really good in high school but people don’t know I was playing with leag guys at UCLA right you don’t know that you don’t get to see that what you think Brony been doing yeah he been playing with he definitely been playing with so he has the confidence and that’s why he had 19 4 and four yesterday or whatever it is he had 13 and 20 minutes uh one of these one of these scrimmages and then as far as shooting a three um I think about 76% on some of these drill oh yeah yeah on the drills he was shooting a high like 65 to 76 so he so it’s going to be interesting to see and I think what’s really going to sell is that game when he plays against his dad or when his dad Sub Sub in for him or yeah it’s like the the the Griffies right uh and it’s something that’s going to be looked at especially if they’re on different teams yeah right but that’s going to bring a lot of people to the to that game like if he go let’s say he gets drafted to what’s a well I think he I think now he like based on what’s going on he’s gonna go higher you think first round I think he’s proving he’s proving himself yeah yeah true he he not doing like I’m he’s creating his own name he’ll need his dad for that he’s doing it himself right now and like I think he’s doing a great job and that’s why I think he’s climbing up the ladder a little bit because he’s showcasing everything that people want to see yeah he’s answering all these questions about his size strength he still hat at the second highest vertical he’s done everything I think he had a 50 40 yeah yeah he’s basically like top five in the categories of everything I mean you can’t deny him on that now it’s just about what system does he fit does he fit your team system right right so people keep saying they talking about like his points in college and people don’t understand when you in college is a little different like you’re in the system like that coach has a idea for the team it’s not about you scoring 30 40 points now there are plenty of people who can get out of the system and get busy they they can drop they can drop bucket like a guy like Kyrie Irving kyri Irving didn’t average 26 points 27 points at Duke for the few games he played he might have scored 15 16 points but at the end of the day you go to the pros when it’s a little little more open and less of a system and you can play a little bit you can really showcase your skills that’s why I look forward to seeing bronnie no absolutely the game is probably better suited for him but people don’t understand this dude had a heart attack how many people you know had a heart attack come back to play in the same season there was a player right before uh Vince he had like some hard condition issue he had to sit out the whole year right so people don’t even understand that like from him coming back from something like that to even being in the game and really showing at certain good spots and and trying to come back to that’s all difficult Y and he handled that very well no definitely did so that like you got to see that too within itself you know what I’m saying and they were majority a winning team well they don’t have they didn’t have a losing record no not at all they competed things factor in absolutely you know what I’m saying but I think you should take people got to take into account like dude had a heart attack before season started he was already behind had to try to catch up in regard right and learn the process being in that position come on how many people can say they can even get back on the court yeah no a lot of people would have definitely um it took another year or stopped you know so shout out to bronnie man looking forward to seeing his progress
