Dude is about to get paid for last season & will almost certainly be heavily overpaid. Good for him though.
There’s a quote after game seven where he’s asked about free agency and where he’d like to play – Florida.
I expect him to sign a long contract about 8 or 8.5 with the Panthers. That core can be ultra competitive for 6 years or so.

I think most people agree that Reinhart probably won’t put up another 50 goal season again. Especially if he’s on a new team not playing next to guys like Barkov and Tkachuk. That being said I think he’s still a really good forward and he’d definitely help the Kraken if they signed him. I’d be happy if the Kraken were able to get him, I definitely think there are a lot worse moves they can make.
