I still see around the podcasts that some still want to chance Lindstrom
My hot take, after Celebrini at least 2 dmen will be picked before the Habs. I think of Buium, Dickinson, Parekh and Levshunov who are all top 5 potentiel. That would leave Lindstrom or Demidov to the Habs. Lets not forget that Chicago, Anahein and Columbus all picked a forward in the 1st round last year. That brings higher probability that more dmen in the top 4 will be picked
MTL should move Heaven and Sky to trade down into the top 10-12
NJ or Utah mentioned they are willing to move their picks
Id be willing to trade Our 26th a Harris or Barron and next years 1st round MTL or Calgary pick for a chance to Draft Iginla and Senneke this year
Oilers are insane
Go Edmonton!! Bring the cup back to Canada, where it belongs.
Very interesting probabilities you presented, however………….there's only one way Montreal will pick a defenceman and that's if beforehand they sign Stamkos or a similar player. Otherwise the fans will riot. A forward is what is needed NOW!!!!! I obviously don't know who that will be, but if Demidov and Lindstrom are gone, it will be Sennecke or Iginla. Take it to the bank.
hi coach francly bud i hope you are doing well my friend go oilers go and of course go habs gi
Apparently Denver University reports Montreal is very interested in Buium.
I know many Habs fans want them to draft a forward, but I wouldn't mind a defenseman at #5. There's so many top pair defensemen available that could be better than Guhle or Reinbacher.
Anyway you do the draft order montreal should get a very good player. I would prefer a forward however if a defenseman is the best player avaliable at the time, would understand taking a defenseman
You may as well do your videos in French, because you are fucking impossible to understand
Who is your preference to fall to them?
I have no problem with the habs choosing a Dman at 5. If thats the best player available then perfect.
Then they will be able to make a trade or 2 down the line for a young scoring forward when the right deal comes along.
Do you think Lindstrom could slip to Montreal at #5?
I wouldn't say 0% for Demidov but given he's now 6.05/192 pounds and wants to come over late next season it does seem much less likely. If we can't get him or Lindstrom I've come around on Buium as an option as he seems to have tremendous upside. If we take Buium imo we're for sure trading up from #26 or making a Zegras type deal as we can't come out of Friday night without a high end forward.
I am in the Sennecke train he is the total package hope the Habs will pick him at 5.
your % for a defensement for Montreal is to hight
Fans that are open to Biuim, might as well get used to seeing Guhle traded away for a top 6 forward! That will be his replacement at number 5! Careful what you wish for guys!
I hope the habs don't overthink this. If demidov isn't available, draft inginla or catton. Depending on what type of player they want
Tons a high end, maybe even elite level D will be available at 5, but if Demidov and Lindstrom are gone the Habs should take Iginla. Just a solid player all around!….After how well Demidov showed in Miami last week if Chicago doesn't pick him I can't see Anaheim passing, especially with their need on wing.
Barkoff goes down from head shot by Draisaiti in third period of game two
Bennett goes down early in game four after knee hit from Nurse
Edmonton Oilers have found their game.
Drafting either Zeev Buium or Parekh would be wonderful to me as both have great quarterback and skating skills.. Montreal may chose to trade the 5th pick for a stud top six forward. Then again how does one pass up on drafting a 6 ft 7 d-man that can skate?..
