  1. Wtf? We gave up Walman and a 2nd round pick for future considerations?!? Calm me down, Brian. In my head, I'm screaming, "Fire Yzerman." 🤯

  2. I am a bit sick of all the Stevie doubters. Just because he is not doing things your way does not mean it is wrong!!!! And how bout wait until the moves are done to judge. Fire yourselves!!!!!!!! Go complain bout Gores!!!!

  3. I get a kick out of you armchair GM's.
    Saying shit like…
1.) "Yzerman will be fired at the end if this season.
2.) "Yzerman is screwing up the defence now.
Honestly, do think he would let Walman slide if he didn't have a play to make? For real man. Sit down and let the adults talk hockey. You clearly don't know enough about hockey to leave an intelligent comment.

  4. Relax people… we have Edvinsson and Johansson to replace Walman this year. Walman could put up points as a defenseman, but was weak in the defensive zone, especially below the goal line. Also, being a healthy scratch at different points in the season suggests an off the ice or issue with coaches. This cap space will be used better on a high end forward or goalie. I’m more than ok with this move.

  5. As a Sharks fan thanks for helping us out on defense. Walman will be our best defenseman. You guys are doing something insane come the trade deadline or July 1st.

  6. I'm baffled right now. Plus, trading Gibson for a 2nd after the season Gibson just had.. none of it makes sense.

  7. I can't believe we had to add a sweetener to move Walman. I would have figured we could get assets for a $3.4 mil dollar dman.. not have to PAY to move him.

  8. Let the man cook. There's only one move that is make or break for the wings and thats unloading Copp. There's only one team in the league that could take him. Do the math

  9. regardless of something else coming, why would they need to add a second to trade Walman? And why couldn't they have traded him straight up for futures? Even that would have been a head-scratcher… You couldn't have got a third for Walman?
