WHAT ARE THE LEAFS BIGGEST PRIORITIES THIS OFFSEASON?

What should be the Maple Leafs’ biggest priorities this offseason? Should GM Brad Treliving be focused on bringing any of Toronto’s pending UFAs back? 7-Eleven That’s Hockey welcomes in Frankie Corrado and Bryan Hayes to discuss.

  1. Grit beats skill in the playoffs, every single time. Everytime Paul Maurice has stated throughout these playoffs that 'playoff hockey is different,' he means you need a full team effort of just gritting out a win. The Leafs don't have enough grit. Good goaltending makes a considerable difference, as well.

  2. They can't run it back but they will. 2024-25 will be more of the same, no point to speculate anything.

  3. Priority #1 is fixing the salary structure, assuming that's fixed, then you search for a top 4 right shot right-handed D-man, that the fans have been screaming for, for 8 years, then a solid goal tender.

  4. Bert sucked. Domi was ok. Sammy was Dr Jeckel and Mr Hyde. Jones was cheap and good in his Role.

If domi wants a reasonable contract sign him. Let Sammy go unless he takes league min. Jones should be signed for cheap depth, let Bert walk.

  5. …. Morgan Reilly is THEE Biggest Problem , get Rid of him ASAP . Tavares & Marner are not the Problem they play hard Every shift .

  6. Move the team to Key West, but still call them the Toronto Male Leafs. I don't think a team can win here. With Legacy media on top of Social and the other platforms, the players must feel like they are in a fish bowl.

  7. Guys I hope the Leafs go after when free agency starts on Sunday:

RD – Matt Roy (top pair with Rielly)
RD – Jani Hakanpaa (2nd/3rd pair physical D)
    LD – Oliver Kylington (2nd/3rd pair puck-moving D)
LW – Tyler Bertuzzi/Jake DeBrusk (gritty top-6 winger)
    C – Chandler Stephenson/Sean Monahan/Elias Lindholm (2nd/3rd line C)
    W/C – Dakota Joshua/Yakov Trenin/Viktor Arvidsson (bottom-6 forwards)
