Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals was an absolute banger where the Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers for their first Stanley Cup in Franchise history. That and more in today’s NHL hockey video!
I feel worse for the Dallas Stars then the Oilers they had the toughest matchups in the playoffs, and not to mention that this was year 2 in the conference finals for them.
I have no remorse or sorrow for the oilers. It’s all been Edmonton this and Edmonton that in all the coverage and game casts. Anytime Florida did ANYTHING, no enthusiasm. Edmonton makes a pass they call it like it’s the greatest thing ever. FUCK the oilers and FUCK the media bias. Florida deserves it more anyway and it’s more wholesome and better for them and the league in the long run. I’ll wait for and find the best and truest unbiased media all around for sports and if not I’ll be there to make the unbias calls. Yes Edmonton did great, but we lacked to cover all the good Florida did throughout. Good for Florida and Edmonton: Good Fucking Night!
During the final minute Mcdavid couldn't even skate. Cheering for Florida but I felt sorry for him. He gave it everything he had and his legs gave out from sheer exhaustion…..
im not even mad we didnt win im mad florida won their fans are the most toxic annoying fans on planet earth and have taken #1 from toronto they just comment hate stuff on literally every post like i get the trash talk its sports but even on things that have nothing to do with them for example i saw an instagram post about sam and joey moss and it was just filled with hate from florida fans just classless in that regard

you gotta be kiddin me ! there were stretches where the panthers couldnt clear their zone to save their lives ! I dont like the oilers but having said that they had a legit weapon in bouchard putting hard shots on net but rarely did in the whole series ! I cant blame skinner at all on the game winning goal as his two defensemen and a panther screened him on the shot !
Bro Oilers most productive line in this game was the Janmark line lol. How do you not point that out? Janmark was unreal for the player that he is. He also famously scored a hatty in game 7 for Vegas in 2021. Dude just elevates in the playoffs.

Skinner vision was definitely screened on the 2nd goal, by both a Florida and an Edmonton player skating across, preventing Skinner from tracking the Reinhart shot – so I can't fault him on either goal. Edmonton tried to be too perfect on offence, receiving passes on the point or in the slot, but rarely one timing them, instead looking for the pass – which gave the Florida's defence time to set up effective blocks in front of the net. So sad to loose by 1 goal, with more than a period remaining…
"Refs swallowed their whistles" yet still made one of the dumbest calls I've ever seen, that "Tripping" call when Tkachuk lost his edge and fell down and slid into an Oiler. I don't even like Turtlechuk, but that call was absurdly ridiculous, not to mention calling it in a Game 7 of the Cup Final.
The Cats made it back to the finals again, that alone is amazing. Winning the Cup is the cherry on the top. I'm so happy for them and the die hard fans.
Mcdavid gets blanked game 6-7 and gets conn smyth? So how can you call out Bob for 2 bad games? When he had an incredible run through and through the playoffs. Record be damned. Bob deserved it more. Glad he got the cup 2nd
The Panthers know Oilers best players and swarm them. Games 4-6 the Oilers put the other players out and we dominated. I think that threw the Panthers off because they don't know the other players that well. I'm just wondering why they didn't do that this game
This is absolutely okay. Crosby never won it in his first SCF. Gretzky never won it in his first SCF. I'm sure these guys will come back stronger next season.
Oilers had plenty of good chances but didnt get the bounce they needed. Panthers did a way better checking job than in gms 5/6. Being tied or having the lead let them play the game they wanted. If OIlers had scored first they would have won..
Draisaitl has a few broken ribs and Mcdavid has to get abdominal surgery. Kane is out with a hernia. The teams been playing injured. I think this season was a huge W. We got it next year for sure!
I have no problems with McDavid winning the Conn Smythe. However an argument can be made that there was lots of talk about how Bob played poorly in games 4,5,6 and maybe that is why he didn't win the Conn Smythe. But I would also argue that McDavid barely showed up on the score sheets in games 1,2,3,7 and his face off percentage throughout the series was absolutely horrific. They pretty much stopped letting him take faceoffs in any critical moments. I completely understand why he did not come out to accept the Conn Smythe, it is an awkward situation. This is why I think they could have awarded the trophy to Bob. He had a great playoff overall and had more good games in the final than McDavid did, and they both had great performance throughout the playoffs.
