Bob McKenzie’s list is sourced through 10 top scouts from around the league and is one of the best lists out there. Before his semi-retirement McKenzie was the top hockey reporter out there.

So Dickinson, Buium, and Parekh are rated around the 8th spot. It sounds like Silayev could drop in practice though if the Russian thing scares some teams off. I’m stoked. I love Silayev’s size (although some of his on-ice metrics I guess are a bit rough), Parekh’s offense, and Buium’s everything.

I’m coming around a little on Dickinson but he lacks a specific trait that gets me interested (so does Buium but I like that he was a dominant champion in the NCAA which I think is the toughest league).

Would also be cool with Lidstrom if it worked out but this is a great year to take a defenseman and our pool is noticeably thin behind Evans.

Kinda weird how he has Dickinson, Buium and Parekh ranked considering his feedback.

Dickinson was ranked as high as 5 and as low as 16. 8 out of 10 scouts had him in the top 10.

Buium was as high as 6 and as low as 11 with 9 out of 10 scouts having him hin the top 10.

Parekh was as high as 3 and as low as 13 with 7 of 10 scouts having him in the top 10 (and 2/10 had him in the top 5).

Idk how he ends up with Dickinson being the highest ranked player when the other 2 seem to have better rankings among scouts McKenzie surveyed…

    Disappointed this wasn’t Rick Moranis.
