Chris Kreider:

📌”This is not an excuse at all because we’re both playing on the same ice. But the ice wasn’t the best. But that’s gonna be the case at this time of year. They put everything behind us and they went to work”

  1. The ice quality is definitely NOT an excuse—-good teams have won in these conditions before. Here’s what a geezer saw in that game: Kreider was completely absent in front of the net for the first two periods
.why wouldn’t you want your record breaker there where he scores the most goals almost the entire game? Panthers completely dominated on the forecheck, giving no space for the Rangers to break out. Lafayette mistake (absolutely forgivable) destroyed any momentum the Rangers had late in the game—sometimes teams get a bad bounce. The way to fight the tight games is to spread out, be conscious of not making bad passes and take advantage of open ice
Rangers are fantastic at that. Too much talent here to piss it away making rookie mistakes. Time to regroup. LET’S GO!!!

  2. The ice wasn’t the best?? The fuck do you mean by that?? You’ve been playing in the same home arena for the rest of your career???

  3. “the ice wasnt the best”. no maybe you just sucked. and cant rely on powerplays😂. Chis. Blaming the ice. Really? đŸ™„đŸ€Ł

  4. Lmfao "not an excuse but the ice wasn't the best" did he forget he was playing in his own arena and not Florida? I mean I guess I'd forget too with how quiet that home crowd was

  5. If someone had told me before the game that the condition of the ice was not the best, I would have automatically thought that it was in the Panthers' favor. In a way, I understand that he mentioned the ice.
