Soft call , but Staal didnt do himself any favors. Right in Mika’s numbers , just the right distance from the boards be the most dangerous and arms fully extended on the cross check. If Mika is closer to the boards and stays upright , I doubt this gets called. I also wonder if the refs felt this was a make up call for the missed delay of game a few moments earlier.
