Woll and Hildeby with a guy like Martin Jones backing them up. Then the 2 Russian goalies have a spot on the Marlies in order to get used to the North American game.
The "injury concerns" regarding Woll are overblown.
He was never injured on the Marlies, there was even a sportsnet segment on him in regards to his extreme flexibility and how he trains to keep from getting injured
He finally got hurt ONCE and it was legitimate. He was out for a nice chunk of the season, then he was hurt again in game 6 with 0.5 seconds left trying too hard to make a pointless save.
Probably re aggravated the injury from mid season.
He's got the entire off-season to heal up without any pressure.
Get a decent backup, sure.
But thus 1A 1B nonsense has to stop

Personally I don’t think having a backup like srolarz and woll playing as our tandem 50/50 and due to woll being injury prone I full believe they are gonna run 3 goalies. My question is do u think jones is gonna be the number 3 or do u think they are gonna give someone like Talbot a chance to come in and finally give him that cup run he deserves
Leafs are looking at another back-up to be the 1A goalie? Didn't work for korpisalo. He can't be a 1A.
109 games played in 6 NHL seasons. If he's one of your goalies you would have to sign Broissoit as well . Broissoit has played 141 games in 10 seasons. Also not a starter.
Stuart Skinner would be better than the Leafs have had in the last ten years other than Andersen.
What is the point of talking about yet another players the Leafs haven't been able to get. Leafs should have tried to trade Marner for Kuemper and a first or Markstrom straight up. Get rid of that contract.
The leafs if they are adding one of these back ups, they will have to get two, because Woll is always hurt.

I can't believe they gave up a first-round pick to get him. The last 2 years Markstroms been garbage and 34. Thank God the leafs didn't get him. Rather play Woll and see how it goes

People make way too much about NTCs and jump to conclusions. Ullmark has a 15 team no trade list. If he's smart and he wants full control of his fate he puts every team on that list that would realistically be interested in him as goaltending upgrade. Easily half the league has pretty entrenched starting goaltenders, coupled with that 15 team list he submits, it effectively gives him full trade protection. You are absolutely kidding yourself if you think the Leafs aren't an option Ullmark strongly considers when presented with interest from a group of teams like OTT, CLB, CGY, SJS, DET, BUF, WSH, PHI, and CHI. If the Leafs are not considered the front runner option among that group, especially with only 1 year remaining on his contract, then Ullmark doesn't care about winning and we don't wouldn't want him anyway. He's expressed on multiple ocassions that Boston is where he wants to be next year, so he's stacking the deck to try to ensure that. If he ultimately agrees to be moved, Boston will almost certainly have to work within the parameters of where Ullmark wants to go which could mean the Bruins/Leafs trade becomes more possible. Heck, I'm even seeing another Leafs youtube channel just posted an interview with Ullmark yesterday.

TML defense is the biggest problem we have , once we actually get 2 top 4 right hand defense we can get just about any goalie that will be under 3M to pair with Woll and Hildeby!
