I think this is a dumb name, but that's just me. I root for a team called the Avalanche, so whatever. Nice jersey's,& logo though.
But I think the NHL missed a chance. Seattle only has a football,& MLB team,& Portland only has an NBA team. They should have split the team-half the games in Portland,& half in Seattle, since they are so close. We could call them the Looters, the Riot (that actually isn't bad)..or maybe even the Marxists. ANTIFA is already taken, but they do seem popular with the mayors. And there's the problem, the mayors just couldn't (wouldn't?) guarantee anybody's safety. We'd probably have to cancel a bunch of games,& move them to..Chicago-no..DC-no…Atlanta? Guess we better just move them to Canada. I hear Vancouver is very nice,& close. But then again Seattle USED to be an awesome city. Can't speak for Portland-but I'm guessing Damascus,& Fallujah are better tourist spots right now (& safer)-depending on COVID.
They already have a rivalry with Vancouver over ugliest jersey.

The 'S' logo looks like the Seagram's 7 logo mixed with the colors of the Tennessee Titans. It's honestly very boring and the Space Needle in the anchor is hardly noticeable.
