  1. Why?? He has mastered it, and performed it now 3 different times. Cant remember the last time Datsyuk did it… If it aint broke dont fix it, its giroux's move now

  2. Cus datsyuk has a million tricks up his sleeve. No its not giroux's move. I can tell youre trying to be his buttbuddy. Just because a player does the movie recently.. doesnt me he originally did the move. Your logic doesnt make snese

  3. Yes, in a way it does. That deke is known because was originally done by datsyuk . He doesnt legally "own" the move. He created & performed the move first.. which makes it his. Because he originally created it.

  4. Who cares if it was Datsyuk's move? It's a nice move to watch. I mean how many guys have done the Forsberg move? It's all good, there is only so many ways to fool a goalie.

  5. I never said he cant use it. I'm just saying hes constantly using Datsyuk's move. & haha wtf are you talking about, i just shut you down.

  6. I would love to be a Datsyuk wannabe, best hands in hockey, best defensive forward in hockey and one of the best offensive talents in hockey. I wish Datsyuk was Giroux's age. Because he would be by far the best player in hockey. Hell, he probably is the best player in hockey as he helps his team in so many more ways than other forwards in the league.

  7. I love when Datsyuk did this move in a game, before the shootout was implemented. Doing a move like this in a game is much harder than a shootout too.

It's on Turco the one in the game, Vokoun in the shootout, and he did a variation of it on Niemi but Neimi didn't bite so he flipped it over his shoulder like Omark did for Team Sweden.

  8. hahaha that is so stupid saying he used Datsyuk's move. Thats like saying whenever someone slaps the puck really hard, that he is using Al Mcinnis's shot lol. Some people are so stupid lol

  9. I wanna end the debate…this isnt the datsyuk. datsyuk does it on one foot after a HARD shot fake then glides to the far side of the net..while on one foot. completely different

  10. Spi o rama is a common move used in many sports, there isnt a orginal..Datsyuk's move is unique So that just doesnt apply. I never said nobody can use the move, ive just noticed giroux uses it alot.. 1 statement doesnt sum up someone's logic

  11. Datsyuk is the far better player. Who has invented moves that other players use because they aren't creative enough to make their own.

Datsyuk first did this move in 2003. Giroux wasn't even playing Juniors yet.

  12. obviously it wasnt that hard of a move to invent if giroux can duplicate it so easy and so many times lul. also giroux did an extra wave of his stick over the puck therefore its different than what 'Guitar Pick Head' did. so giroux technically invented his own move.

  13. Who's comparing players? Only you. Datsyuk is an amazing player. Giroux is an amazing player, who even gave credit when he scored his first Datsyukian. Datsyuk is 34, Giroux is 25 so chances are he's had a lot of time to do it first genius. Get over yourself and your self entitlement.

  14. And Giroux is a professional hockey player, I'm pretty sure most of them can do it.

Guitar pick man? You so realize he completely revitalized an entire genre, is the only guitar player that has ever been able to live up to Hendrix's playing, and has thousands of people who were influenced by him. You're ignorant to think a musician of his caliber did "nothing." His 6 Grammy's says otherwise.

  15. Looked like almost the exact same move he pulled on the leafs in the shootout the year b4. Didn't think it could be performed any better than he did it the 1st time…then I saw this lmao

  16. Which means Giroux was like 15 … how do want a 15 year old to create a shootout move when he's not even in the NHL for people to see it ?
