Bahl is a solid guy with upside, and I think most Devils fans would agree. He was the center piece of the Taylor Hall to Arizona trade.
we needed a defense first d and sounds like we got one and being a 3rd line on a team with hughes and hamilton does not sound as bad as you make it sound and markstrom was a disappointment 2 good years out of 4 and choked when it mattered the most got lit up bad by edmonton and only saw edmonton few times since vladar got most of the starts against edmonton so cya later marky and welcome Bahl put some players through the boards and lets face it most of the d picked up last year is for the wranglers cause hopefully couple of the wranglers make the jump to the flames after training camp
Going to miss Bahl, we don't really have many shutdown-type defensemen on our roster. Glad we have a goalie now at least lol but our D wasn't the best and hopefully Sheldon Keefe can get some order on the D side of things for our system. Goalies we have/had last year with the flat out poor D we played, could have put the Great Wall of China in net and we would still lose games.
