The Old Gold Club Christmas special as former goalkeeper, Matt Murray joins Mikey Burrows and Chris Iwelumo to discuss the play-off final, local rivalries and dealing with early retirement as well as much, much more.
What a fantastic interview – and what a top bloke and Wolves legend. Yes we all know he is tall, dark and handsome for the girls, but also fascinating hearing him talk about his darkest moments. Thx Matt for what you did for us, the Albion game was legendary but the Play Off Final as an event even beat the League Cup Final for me as an occasion. And great to see you carving out a career at Sky Sports.
What a legend absolutely top keeper such a shame about injurys He would of definitely got his call up I'm sure great stopper. Remember watching him in the play off final outstanding performance MOTM not just for pen stop but crucial saves and the great throw out to set up one of the goals. He was one of the best. So a merry Xmas to you all and a happy new year great chat. Come on you wolves.🐺🐺

Matt Murray I don't need to say anything else the nicest guy you could ever wish to meet
Love this guy, the ultimate professional and the best keeper England never had
would surely have been a premiere league top 4 keeper if fit and around now and also prob an england regular..great keeper
