    >Finding stability at RW would surely help their cause, with Drury openly admitting his plan to “continue to look and explore and try to find someone that could become a good fit for them.” Zibanejad addressed the dilemma, as well, expressing his belief that he and Kreider would benefit from “a guy who’s more of a passer.”

That makes me wonder if Laf should get another shot with Kreids and Mika. He can score or pass, and after the huge progress he made last year, I think maybe this time could be different.

Of course the counter argument is how dare you suggest breaking up the Vinny line. Well, my rebuttal is yes they were our best 5v5 line all year, but I still didn’t love how many GAs they surrendered. I think I’d be okay sacrificing some of the GFs of it meant they were also more defensively sound. Kakko could get another crack at the top 6, but maybe someone like Toffoli could also work there. He shouldn’t cost as much in dollars or term as Guentzel or Marchessault.

Mercogliano also mentioned Lindholm who can play wing or center, which might be good insurance for Chytil. He had a meh post deadline season, so I don’t know what the market will be for Lindholm.
