[Canucks Insider: Chris Faber] “In his second season as a pro, Arshdeep Bains took another step forward and played games at the NHL level. Bains suited up eight times for the big club and saw his AHL points-per-game numbers jump in Abbotsford, recording 55 points in 59 games. #BuildingBlue”

He’s training hard in the summer to make the team in Vancouver. At 23, the next couple years will really determine the fate of his professional career. Does he become an AHL all-star, or can he carve out a career in the NHL as a grinder?
He may have an outside chance with so many UFAs we can’t re-sign. Although he looked lost on some plays with the big team, I am hoping he can take that next step. Would really help save money during the OEL buyout years.
Canucks have loads of these tweener dudes now. He might get some fourth line minutes and he could be relied upon occasionally but I think he’ll still spend most of his time down in Abbotsford.
Bro can make a solid pass
Bro, just learn to skate faster.
He had chances but was always just a little behind or a little slow than the rest of the players. The brain is there, just needs to up the speed.
This dude sucks
Would be nice to have an actual local on the team.
