just begin with how’s how’s your health and how you feeling and is there a chance you can played in game six uh hopefully yeah um you know just going through the steps and um we’ll see see how tomorrow goes but uh hopefully how good did it feel to get out there on the ice practice with your teammates it was great um yeah it’s very tough to watch it’s time of year um you know you want to be part of it uh it was great to get back out there and to be around the energy and and the emotion um and be there with the guys how important was it to you to be this sort of emotional leader uh in in Florida oh was more I just wanted to be part of it um you know like I said it’s very tough to watch this time of year and not be involved um it’s extremely stressful watching uh you know so I just wanted to to be in there with the guys and and uh be part of it and um you know it helps to you know when you’re not playing to be in there and and uh be in the room with the guys and you know be able to talk through it all with them so um you know just trying to stay involved BR your guys hung your jersey they talked about about wanting to having added motivation to extend the series to get you back knowing what you’ve talked about how much it means to you to be the captain to have them feel that way about you is that pretty powerful yeah it is I mean I you know I love this group I love every guy in the team and um you know I think moments like this just show how close we get and um how much we we mean to one another uh there’s a lot of different uh things that happen on and off the ice throughout the year um you know that AR aren’t known that just show how close of a group we have and and uh you know you don’t get this everywhere and I think that’s part of what makes us all very grateful to be part of this team organization is um you know how we Bond on and off the ice so uh I am grateful for each day with this group and this team and um and being part of it and and it’s the guys that make it special it’s a different take us through the hit and how you how tough was it for you what was recovery like what’s it been like for you and your your family I just you know excited to get back out there with the guys um you know uh like I said it’s just tough to to not play this time of year um you know you want to be out there and you want to be part of it it’s hard to watch but um you know hopefully hopefully tomorrow uh be good to go perspective watching the game was there anything that you able to learn you know watching the game that you might be able to apply when you eventually take the I mean more it’s comes on in desperation you know when when they’re playing desperate um you know they have the momentum when we’re playing desperate we have them onum um you know so they’re a great team and and uh they’re playing hard and and when we play the right way we’re great teams so um you know just really the takeaway is it’s a hell of a series it’s fun to watch uh which is also why it’s hard to to watch uh you want to be out there but um you know guys did a great job battling and and forcing the game six and um you know looking forward to you everyone’s looking forward to getting going tomorrow do you think it was a cheap job um I I think that it was he plays hard you know he’s an extremely uh physical player U great player for the group I think he got away with a shot but you know I’m not going to complain happens and um you know that’s part of especially playoff hockey um you know I’ve been on on the other side of of a lot of a lot of plays and U you know I think you get away with one but I mean that that’s part of the game and and uh um definitely part to play off hockey uh you know yeah it sucks to be on the other side of it but uh you know that that stuff happens um know so I’m not going to sit here and complain about it that that’s part of the game and but yeah I think you got to away with one but it is what it is is it too late to in the game too important to be thinking about any kind of Revenge or or kind of paying it back no I mean that that’s again that’s part of the game I mean um you know it’s part of playoffs is I you know people don’t want to say it but part of playoffs is trying to hurt every player on the other team and the more guys you take out the more Advantage your team has and you know people don’t say that but that’s just a fact of the game and uh you know so every time you step on the ice someone’s trying to hurt someone and and you know that that’s just how it goes in playoffs and and uh anytime you can get an advantage on a team it’s going to help your team win and uh you know that that’s part of the benefit of having a physical group and that’s why you see teams Go the Distance with big deore and and physical teams um and it’s why you rarely see teams that are small and skilled go far because you know they get hurt that’s part of it
