Exactly. We lost in round one. Bert is 30 and in decline. If they walk, they walk. The Leafs aren't a Domi or Bert away from winning. Bert isn't worth $5.5 m when you have no backend.
Domi won’t leave just like Marner
At this point who really cares I mean the club is keeping the core 4 so next season is a complete wash anyways…
I actually like both players at the right price.
Bert at 5.5 I think a bit rich.
Domi at 2.5 again would be really good value, I expect you would have to go up. But Domi at 3.5 per year is solid.
Bert at 4 or so would be good value.
They can likely both get more on open market, but those are good value numbers for Leafs.
Does not matter same shite core same shite season.
