I miss G as a captain, not so much as a top-line player though. His face off play is unmatched and arguably one the best in the league, no matter where he goes!
I miss the spirit and determination and fire—🤔 kind of a red headed joke I just now realize lol—he brought to the locker room and even to the bench. How couldn’t really do a whole lot of play making I felt in his last few years in the orange and black, but dammit if he wasn’t the best captain in terms of what a captain should be for their team!
