In completely different ways, it’s interesting that Torts, Lars, and Babcock all started and had the fan base thinking “ah I’ll give him a chance, maybe he’s changed” and by the end of their tenures all ended with “nope those are the weaknesses we were expecting”
Torts was obviously worth it, I’m still confused by Larsen, and Babcock was an obvious mistake. Just kinda interesting.

Well maybe it seems Calgary is serious about a retool with this hire. They wanna make sure they aren’t super competitive so they can fire him next offseason and then make a playoff push.

Just because Larsen struggled here doesn’t mean we shit on the guy.
He was a class act and did a lot of really positive things back in his time running the Falcons in the AHL. Good luck Lars!
