I’m no pro but comparing to Google the A doesn’t look right. I didn’t really see any examples with that style of the A. I focused mostly on the cards since those are usually more likely real.

Can’t speak to the autograph but considering you bought this at an auction, I’d be upset it’s signed on a fake jersey (colour is off, nameplates aren’t stitched with so much visible thread, and fight strap stitching at the bottom is off proportionally)

Can’t comment on the autograph but the jersey seems fake to me. The lettering seems off and the adidas logo doesn’t look good. I have a fake Kachina jersey and the adidas logo looks just like it.
But then again, I once had Doug Gilmour sign two hats for me, at the same time, and both signatures looked so different from each other other than the exaggerated loop he puts on his G

If you’re buying something from an auction and there’s no certificate of authenticity that comes with it, I would seriously consider the legitimacy of that auction. Clearly the legitimacy of the items they are auctioning is lacking.

FYI AM34 changed his auto slightly after his rookie season, so there are some differences between his autos.
This one though is definitely a fake trying to impersonate his newer auto. There are a few issues, but the biggest tell is the loop on the bottom of the A. Auston’s A is drawn more like a tilted “4” (with straight lines, especially the bottom)

Fake. I assume so, because I was recently at a charity event hosted by SickKids and among other luxury items they had a signed Matthews jersey for sale ($425!) – and I highly doubt a reputable organization like SickKids would sell a fake.

I’d never buy an autograph at an auction without a Beckett, PSA, JSA cert, or one from the Leafs / whatever team the player is from.
Edit: or fanatics, or whatever a players official cert is. Like the one posted below, that has a fanatics coa.

As soon as i got home my dumbass finally gave it a good look and realized that I’m 90% sure this jersey is fake 😅 Never bought something like this before. I knew there should have been some sort of authentication but I wasn’t even thinking that in that the moment. Clearly 😄 200$ so not horrible but still very shitty. Thanks for everyone’s input I now know 100% it’s fake.
