Mandarin High School’s, Brad Hunt (Sr), won the 3A Division 1, 171 lbs weight class wrestling tournament over the weekend at Fletcher High School defeating previously #15 in the state, Josh Allen of Niceville 3-1 in overtime. Brad entered the weekend tournament with a record of 23-6 and was seeded #2 behind Allen who was 32-5 and the #1 seed. Both will advance to next weeks Regional.
Totally, 8 Mandarin wrestlers will advance to next weekends Regional tournament at Dr. Phillips High School.
