  1. Dark Side of the Ring is fantastic. I am not a wrestling fan, but I love that show, so you're spot on there.

  2. one more day. one more day. one more day. I almost broke down and watched a basketball game. then i realized anything else would be a better idea.

  3. When asked for comment on the new cap, Gary Betteman said "When the cap reaches 88 million dollars, you're gonna see some serious shit."

  4. The Habs keep cannibalizing their market. Getting new fans? Why would anyone watch if they weren't a fan? It'll be a 30 minute hype machine with over the top writing and a narrator emphasizing the "dramatic." Le yawn. Whatever happened to just watching the bleeping game?

  5. I like the idea of a 3-2-2 series format. Games 1, 2, 3 in top seed arena, Games 4, 5 at lower seeded arena, Games 6, 7 at higher seed arena. Give the higher seed a real advantage, which makes the regular season more meaningful. The 2-2-1-1-1 is not much of an advantage for the higher seed. Plus, less travel needed.

  6. Small note to the 2-3-2 system; if the NHL ever wanted to change the scheduling format for the playoffs, I feel like 3-3-1 would be the only real consideration. Minimizes travel, gives a bigger advantage to the higher seed and could add potential for more 0-3 comebacks

  7. Why are you North Americans referring to wrestling as a "sport"? Since it isn't a competition it can't be.

  8. I picture in my mind, at an owners' meeting, one owner suggesting, instead of raising the salary cap, let's reduce ticket prices to make it more affordable for people, there being 5 seconds of silence, then everybody bursts out laughing.

  9. Montreal not being a top team should make this documentary interesting, seeing the young guys as they navigate their careers. Who knows also, next year could be a good jumping up the standings type of year.

  10. i think that the reason the AHL still does 2-3-2 is travel logistics. Since travel is mostly by bus it cuts down the travel time significantly as you get into later rounds of the playoffs. Or else teams would need multiple days between games just to cross the the continent

  11. You reported on the oilers renewing their RSN, but said you don’t report on that when I asked why you didn’t cover Seattle ditching their RSN for free over the air broadcasting and Streaming on Prime. Seems a bit inconsistent

  12. FYI 2-3-2 was tried in the 80s not the 90s. Really hurt the Islanders try for their 5th straight cup vs Oilers in ´84 but they probably would have lost anyway.

  13. PHILLY ? One of the most vile fan base in Profesional $ports ! Who cares what they do " Ignate Inc. How can they be in the same state as Pittsburgh ? Much respect for Pittsburgh franchise'$ . GO Hawks. Go Leafs !🇨🇦
