  1. Whatever this Habs management team ends up doing I fully support, they've earned the benefit of the doubt

  2. Columbus will no doubt take Lindstrom or Demidov if they fall.
With that being said I think we should draft Catton. He is the final missing piece in the puzzle. Montreal didn’t have the chance to draft Cooley or Smith so now they get a very similar player in Catton.

  3. HAbs need to take a player that helps them make the playoffs but shines when they get in the big dance. Don't know the difference? Look at the players still playing in the finals then look at the Leafs roster.

  4. I agree as long as they draft the right prospect…otherwise as for Bergevin, HuGo will be criticized for it !!!

  5. I lost it at DINNER GATE HAHHAHAHA but for real I hate that. I hate that they have dinner with one but not others and that they havent picked a guy they went with dinner so far

  6. Why do you keep saying that Demidov is going to Chicago?
I would bet good money that they won't draft him.
When has Chicago drafted a Russian early? Answer, never.
You tell me if you have predicted EVEN ONE pick that Davidson has made in his two drafts, save for Bedard.
    Thought so.

  7. I doubt it cements anything with who they are picking/ I’m sure these guys are on their radar but last 2 drafts they d to dyed a guy who they never took to dinner. Maybe it’s a poker d FDA ace and he’s trying to make the teams in front of him wonder just who he is in fact picking.

  8. They didn’t take Sennecke to dinner, he’s the pick 😂

I think they’re trying to be unpredictable to other teams mostly.

  9. I dunno, if Chicago doesn't pick Demidov I can see Verbeek surprising everyone and grabbing him. Yeah, there is the Russian factor and his size but that skillset might be too good to pass up and don't forget, the Ducks are deep with D and outside of a high-end RD really need a solid winger. Also, Verbeek was not a big guy himself and had an exceptional career. Even though he likes big, skilled two-way players, he knows size isn't everything and sometime when an elite player is right there you pick him! If the Ducks do interview and have contact with Demidov and everything goes well, I can see him going to Anaheim…."IF" Chicago passes on him. If they do take him, Anaheim takes Levshunov in a heartbeat. The Habs will wind up taking Iginla or Lindstrom.

  10. Sennecke was dominant his last half season. He had a growth spurt to deal with in the first half, and probably had to adjust.

  11. I've said this before if the Habs can take 5 foot 7 170 pound Caufield and turn him into a good around player imagine what Marty and the Habs could turn 6 foot 200 pound Esierman into.

  13. What is it that makes you think Lindstrom is like Slafkovsky? One was the MVP at the Olympics before being drafted, the other missed more than half a season.

  14. No Russians who haven't played in North America in their development. No tiny dudes. Get someone who already has a good two way game, size, and compete level or playoffs.

  15. Very honest question for you, Josh & Jesse (and for some of the fellow subscribers here): How exactly do you know so much about all of these prospects? By that I mean, where have you watched them play, and how much 'gametime' have you been able to watch for each of them? I've tried to find games available to watch to familiarize myself with them all, without much luck. 🤔
