  1. Louzer should just say zzzzzz and take a nice long nap during draft/trade/ufa festivities. Not a fkn thing he can do so no sense kidding ourselves into thinking this out of date clown can magically navigate the draft for some top talent, make a trade for much needed speed/skill/youth, while fetching a top ufa to finish things off. Just make sure louzer's alarm isn't set for draft night so he can't deal a fifth straight first away. All isles can expect from louzer is a few day 2 mid tier ufa that wont make a fkn difference and for louzer to draft some bum in first round (if pick is kept) that experts had as a third/fourth rounder on their boards. Plus the job of using that added cap space that should be used to begin buy out process of 27, 44 who wont get isles shit in trade and too costly in picks to move out. Bad year not to be able to participate in loaded ufa class with lots of forwards that will be moved as well. Thanks louzer. This fossil is always a day late and a $ short when it comes to keeping up with nhl activity. No other team out there is this handcuffed from making moves/improving their roster like isles are. Frustrating as fk to watch isles be stuck in the mud spinning their wheels every of-season thanks to run it back expert.

  2. Gil. Remember not all players want to play for certain teams, the islanders surely have a reputation, you always answer my questions , “but will he “Nothing changes until Lou and son are gone, the owners don’t care, obviously, great show thanks Gil

  3. Kind of disheartening they can’t grab the big fish. I wonder if Lou can get the respect of the fans again. I’m just hoping this is his last year.

  4. what is going to change with this GM he will be a no-show at the draft, the guy is MIA when it counts, he is a loser

  5. Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? Free Agency in The NHL starts next month, and it's going to be interesting who's going to stay, and who they'll let go. Lou Lamoriello's finally waking up and smelling the ☕ when it comes to what he has to do, I hope. In the 52 years of their existence, The Islanders have never signed an elite free agent. I think they should get their 👐 on that guy who's very 😒 in Carolina I forgot his name. If Lou Lamoriello makes any kind of moves, I hope it's ALL THE RIGHT ONES. Lane Lambert's landing on his feet like most 🙀, he's an Assistant Coach with The Toronto 🍁. I liked that movie, Miracle. I think Kurt Russell did a fine job playing Herb Brooks. It's a shame he didn't live to see it. JG Pageout disappointed by his own admission 5M a year, he'll be 32 soon.. HAPPY 🎂 MILAN URSINA. Best night as an Islander, 2 goals 2 assists, as they beat COLORADO . Hear from you later, Gil. I will say this b4 I go, If Lou Lamoriello makes any kind do deals, I hope he doesn't do what Mike Milbury did, get rid of all the good players, and he ran the team into the ground. Oh b4 I forget LET'S GO ISLANDERS.

  6. Good morning team. Hey Gil, I have a question. Do you think there is some way we can get Lou and the owners to listen to the podcast? I would think they have media people that are up on all the things fans are saying about them and the team. Maybe they do listen, but they just don't care. anyway, great episode again! Everyone, have a great Thursday! See you all again tomorrow. Until then.. Let's Go Islanders!!

  7. Spot on Gil! First Lou has to get contracts off his books! Lee and his 7 mill! Either have to retain 2 mill or add one of the 2nd round picks! JGP 5 mill! Could have had a 1 st for him now we have to add to rid of him! Perhaps JGP and Walstrom or a 3 rd or 4 th round pick! That should free up about 12 million! If you can get Pulock to waive to be traded to his home town team the Jets for Ehlers…. Perhaps a bigger deal. No big agent is coming plus we have no cash! I would love to add Kane! I don’t care about his age …. 1 year deal 4.5 mill he can be traded at deadline if need be.

  8. This year's playoff showed us that you need an elite top line.(Florida) . The Rangers showed us you can't take 2/3 of a top line, and plug a second liner in. The Isles have spent too much on 2nd/3rd liners with long term and being overpaid.
We need to revamp the farm system, our player development for forwards/Goalies is terrible.
Do we dangle Palmieri for picks ? Nelson?

  9. Toffoli would be great addition. not young but still has excellent production. on a 3 year deal or less of course

  10. Question: I am new to your show, so I am not sure if you talked about this before… Do you think the Islanders will trade J.T Pageau and package a 1st or 2nd round pick so some team would take on his contract? If so, what do you think the Islanders will give up to get that done?

  11. We have very little Cap Space, not much to trade player or pick wise and hard to shed contracts, High Priced FA's aren't a good choice with all we need to improve to compete with the Rangers, Panthers or other top six teams. I'd like them to bring back Riley and McClaine then try getting Jesperi Kotkaniemi, he will be 24 in July and it seems Carolina isn't looking to keep him so the cost may be inexpensive. If Sorokin can have a bounce back year, with a little luck we could have a decent Nashville-like season at little cost. Sooner or later we will have to restock our depth with young talent, we may as well start now.

  12. Bring in Toffoli and Monahan in free agency. Trade for Ehlers. Move Nelson, Palmieri, Pageau, Lee. Carlo and Beecher to the Islanders. Pageau, Palmieri, and Pulock to the Bruins. Nelson and Wahlstrom for Ehlers. To summarize: Free agents to bring in, Debrusk, Toffoli, Monahan. Trade for Carlo, Beecher, Ehlers.
