Really stoked for him even though he’s a bit of a Beckerhead.
Beck is every coach’s dream. He plays the game the right way, he’s a defensively reliable center that doesn’t hold back the production of his linemates. Also, the dude wins every goddamm faceoff.
He’s gonna take Jake Evans’ role in the lineup, mark my words.
He’s not a flashy kind of player but he seems like the kind of guy that you need to win. It’s going to take a few years at the very least but if he could be a Danault lite it would be a huge win for the Habs.
Now I want to know what Beck thinks of Parekh!

As good as he was, Beck would be even better with linemates who could see the play at the same level he does, which he didn’t have in the OHL because he’s just a cut above that level.
I’m expecting/hoping Joshua Roy makes the Habs out of training camp, but if not, I’d be down for a Beck-Roy combo for a couple of months in Laval until the TDL clears spots for them in Montreal.
