Igor was everything. 3 years in a row where we can’t score more than 1 goal for Igor in elimination game. Wow. Next season they will teach Igor how to score goals hopefully.
I'm a panthers fan but take heart. the panthers won the president's cup two years ago and got eliminated first round. The next year we made it to the cup final and lost. Now we are back year 3 to finish the job. it's a work in progress and u have to get tough skin and make your bones. Rangers a very good team. Make the changers to become playoff tough and I'm sure you ll be back next year and get into the finals!!
I am a 40 year die hard rangers fan they ran into a team the strangles u offensively they will all learn from this to all my rangers fans enjoy the summer get ready for a great fall
Resident Panthers Fan here listen that Igor guy is phenomenal; I believe he was the reason you guys got those 2 games if it wasn’t for his play y’all probably get swept. I would say all your team missing is the toughness; Y’all have immense talent. Good luck next season, but we have unfinished business to get this cup.
When the dirtiest player in the NHL is the Captain I enjoyed watching them lose. Zero net presence, you won't go far, first 2 lines need a big body for in front. And the D was too loose in front of the defensive net
This series really showed me how much Igor carried throughout the year, and that in a long series against a solid team that they simply could not compete (regardless of beating Carolina and stealing two from Florida). I still think the rangers are the third best in the eastern conference but Florida specifically was defensively so good and hard working. Upset about it but let’s go Astros baseball ⚾️ 🔥
I said from the star of this series that barring injury the Stanley Cup Champion was going to be coming out of this series. With the exception of the first game every game was decided by one goal
Tampa has scored 14 goals in 5 games against Florida, with three more pucks not counting against them. How many goals could the Rangers score? These two Florida-Tampa and Florida-Rangers series are like heaven and earth! On every line except the goaltenders
I think that was a good close series. Igor is probably the best goalie in the NHL right now. The Panthers played in the NY zone most of the series and they seemed to always be putting pressure and making shots on the NY goal. Despite this, 3 of the 4 games went to OT and almost all the games were decided by 1 goal. I am a Panthers fan and really sweated each game. It was close and competitive as a Conference Final should be.
I see the Jets helmet so I feel for ya bro.. My son has been a Jets fan since he was 8, he's 31 now and still waiting.. On the other we are all Devils fans and although he wasn't born during game 6 and game 7 of the Devils vs Rangers finals I still (at times) feel the pain.. We won 3 cups since (should've been 5) that time and eliminated the Rangers last year, down 2 games to 0. I personally think the owners don't care, you guys are fans for life. Until you stop buying to a losing team you will get what they give you and be happy.. Maybe your kids will finally wake up and change Jerseys… Our true enemy is not your team it is and always will be the hated Flyers.. Take care..
Bad Karma NYC gets what it deserves. The Rangers were not the 2nd best team in the playoffs they were 5th or 6th they just had a lucky draw where they did not have to face truly good teams
Came across your channel today. Wish I saw it sooner . Thanks for the content ! Ranger fan since 76, listening on a transistor radio in my bedroom . I’ve been through so many bad teams , not too upset after this year . Look, what fans always forget is these guys are human, not robots or a video game. Kinda seems like they peaked a bit early. Their game seemed off starting at tail end of Carolina series. They seemed a bit out of synch as even simple passes were missing. Game 6 was a bit better but still off. Seems like they couldn’t get into a rhythm for any stretch of time. hand it to FL, they play a great structured style that fits their players to a T, and this was a bad matchup for the rangers . Great job by Zito with roster management. They also know what they can get away with in playoffs and are masterful at going to the edge of what’s a penalty. Also, remember that this is the first year that the rangers are playing within a structured system. Honestly, I’m surprised they did this well under the first year of this system . Fun year , see you in October !!!

Panthers fan here, Shesterkin and Lafreniere were awesome.
The series was tightly contested with each team being within 1 goal of each other (save for Game 1, which was 1-0 until late in the 3rd).
The series was also relatively clean (a stark contrast from our Boston series).
The Rangers are definitely talented enough to run it back in the playoffs next year.
Looking forward to another series if they meet in the playoffs again.
Panarin had the best season too!
