Ryan Suter was called for roughing for the last of multiple shoves and crosschecks which individually probably weren’t penalties but added up together equal one. McDavid took exception and swung his stick and, well…I honestly can’t tell what it hits. Either way, it wasn’t called. What’s your read on what McDavid’s stick connected with, if anything? Have your say!

DId not have proper angle on what McDavid hit….but it was a pissy reaction and probably should have been the actual penalty.
Both those should be called regularly, but they rarely are. I'm assuming they get called after a ref gives a warning.
The all too common crosscheck in the lower back. Everyone does it now because nobody gets called for it. Not even here, it was a roughing penalty, for the second hit while McD was already down.
Call them both or let them play. Ridiculous penalty call
Can’t lay the lumber the second time when a guy is down. That will get called all day every day.
Suter was undisciplined and costed the Stars the game essentially. Keep that up for game 6 and it's golf season for the Dallas team.
Suter, half the $89 million dollar failure..
IMO…..not a play that should have resulted in a penalty. This is playoff hockey. You start calling this, especially in playoffs, then you may as well turn the channel and watch a women's hockey game where there is no hitting.
It becomes a penalty when he is down from your first crosscheck and you hit him twice more while down
After slowing it down on YouTube, looks like it hit RNH in the sack! 🤣🤣😂😂
I told you for la bamba they would bet crushed. Go home and cry to the dude in the wheelchair. F O
I had to call it. The only way Edmonton can win. The game is by the refs calling stupid penalties that shouldn't be called. They both should've went to the box with anything.
I am not a McDavid fan. Guy drives me nuts. This is a crosschecking penalty all day though
Suter had a bounce back year, but when are the stars going to realize you're not going to win with Suter in the lineup. He always seems to have a negative impact at the wrong time. I admit he received the short end of the stick here, but it doesn't matter. The play affected the outcome of the game.
A lot of comments from fans of one team or the other who always view the game differently. Hockey fans see the third version which is a bit more accurate.
Cross checking gives defenders a huge advantage but the refs very often let it go.
Another stupid penalty by Suter… cannot wait until this clown is no longer a Star… unfortunately Jim Nill thought it would be smart to sign him through his 40-year-old season…
Florida take notes, not allowed to touch McDavid.
