Wennberg OT goal – Tough Call Review

Alex Wennberg had the puck go off him and into the net to win Game 3 for the New York Rangers. What part of him did it hit, and was it legal?

  1. I can’t believe they thought this was possibly not a goal.. the panthers 3rd goal was almost the exact same, except it actually hit the players glove.. that one was way more of a “punch in” than this one, and no one questioned it

  2. It's not a tough call at all…except that NHL officiating is worse than I have ever seen in my 50+ years of watching this league. The Barkov goal was more likely to be a no-goal, although I also thought it was good.

The tough call is how the Rangers can play so badly, putting in about 15 minutes per night, and still manage to keep winning games.

  3. It’s a joke. The fact that they even tried 😂 shows everything I need to know. Also last game winner they tried the same thing. Sorry. Not happening.

  4. Who was swinging their stick at Rempe after the game was over? The clip I saw I couldn't tell, but it kinda looked like Barkov

  5. It was evident from the first replay they showed that it hit the white part of his stick. Never a doubt and tape made it so easy to see.

  6. It’s the skate against the goalie stick,it is slow enough to see, he cannot lift stick to try and stop puck

  7. Still , gotta salute the stick control to be able to redirect with the small area between his hands.

  8. i think it hit the white part of stick, then grazed his index finger right after. you can see his finger move in the slow mo

  9. The league wants Florida to win otherwise they lose the franchise hockey in Miami! Come on now there should not be a team in south Florida or the state of Florida at all!

  10. And I thought Crosby cried a lot, but dang Bob and Paul Maurice could keep Kleenex in business with as much as they cry to the refs about almost everything.
