  1. 10:41 i thought about that trade idea but why would it make sense? If the hurricanes don’t have enough money to sign pesce, skjei and necas, how could they sign hronek?

  2. Might be a crazy idea but
Vegas trades: Brendan Brisson Adin Hill and a first
    To Toronto
For : Mitch Marner Joseph Woll and a third

  3. Canucks should attempt to sign Guentzel to a long term deal, but only if they trade Boeser. If the Canucks don't plan to sign Boeser to an extension, then now would be the time to trade him. He just had 40 goals plus he has one more year on his contract so the return for him should be at the highest right now. We can't trade for Necas unless we can free up cap space to sign him…

  4. As a habs fan that offer is so weak if you swap harris with struble and kidney with mesar it would be a big step up in value.
I feel like the necas and hronek one for one deal doesn’t make sense because hronek wants 7-8m and the canes can’t sign necas because they don’t have capspace

  5. Eyo! I got mentioned! Great vid! Always fun with deal or no deals. I think another video reacting to cap friendly teams and at leas 1 or 2 deal or no deals this summer would be fun! Thanks for the uploads!

  6. Ehlers+Stanley to NYI for Pulock+2nd+2nd
    * NYI has 3 2nds from dropping down in draft.
If you want can remove the 2 2nds and replace with BrockNelson(UFA24)

  7. May i offer a tiny bit of critique ?
I love this format from you, i've seen other youtubers do kinda similar stuff in their own ways but scarcely ever to your level of fine consideration for each teams viewpoints, and I just want to help elevate it even more with this one thing : You have this tendancy of passing from one deal segment to another with little to no voice transition (probably to keep it as short & sweet as possible, which i do appreciate) but in doing so it almost sound & feel from a viewer's standpoint like you don't even breathe ahah. I'd love for you to take a half second breather in between to help segment it more. It could also be the opportunity, if it's not too much editing off course, to add a little "Deal" or "No deal" stamp to conlude each one before tackling the next.

  8. The returns people seem to think Necas is worth are mind blowing. This is a winger who's not under contract. Who in 5 full seasons has 2 years over 50 points 1 year over 60, and it wasn't this year. This year he took a huge step back from last year. Which should be a red flag. Why do people think this kid is worth a package of more than a 1st? Absurd. If he was a center who wins more than 50% of his draws maybe. If he was a first year player who had this seasons production? Sure. He's not either of those things. Not at the NHL level anyway. He's listed as a center but he's terrible at draws. It's not like Carolina is deep at center beyond Aho he couldn't win being a center for them he's going to struggle winning being a center anyway. I don't get why his return warrants anything close to these predictions. Giving up a huge amount for a kid who declined who you still have to negotiate a contract with seems exceptionally stupid.

  9. To NSH: Marner
To TOR: Saros, Tomasino, Afanasyev and a 1st round pick. I’m having a hard time to see Nashville parting ways with Evangelista and Toronto can flip the pick for a defensemen

  10. New Jersey receives: Brady Tkachuk, Jacob Chychrun
Ottowa receives: 2024 first rounder, Akira Schmid, Ondrej Palat, 2024 3rd round draft pick

  11. To MIN: Nikolaj Ehlers (2M retained), 2026 2nd

    To WPG: Marco Rossi

I hate the idea of Rossi leaving, but Billy G is allegedly listening to offers on him, and according to Russo would be open to trading him for a faster, bigger forward. They'd also get another 2026 pick, which they seem to be stockpiling for rentals. Ehlers is also in the same age bracket as Kaprizov and Ekker.

Winnipeg would get a long term solution as a 2C behind Scheifele.

  12. Evangelista being included in the Marner deal immediately kills the deal for Nashville. He is considered one of Nashville's untouchables. He has already established himself as part of Nashville's future core and Nashville has plenty of other young NHL ready wingers that could take that place. Tomasino is the big one that comes to mind.

But I'd rather the deal just be Saros a 1st and a 3rd for Marner. Don't complicate it any more

  13. There's talks that Saros is saying he would take a discount if he were to resign with Nashville. If that's the case, Nashville would wanna go after Necas at that point.

  14. I don't understand why people think draft picks with prospects is unattractive to Toronto.
Gaining cap space and adding prospects and picks (two things Toronto doesn't have) seems like that would make it much easier to sign another need or make a trade.

  15. No deal on the Ullmark trade. The Bs don’t need another defenseman. They need a true 1C and prospects. Their top 4 is already solidified,
    McAvoy – Lindholm
    Loheri – Carlo.
So if anything on defense they need depth defensemen. They have Peeke on their third pairing so just finding a good fit for him would be enough. Wotherspoon looked decent this, year when needed, but they need a consistent guy they can rotate in the lineup if need be. So, if Ullmark is moved at all, it would be for a 1st and prospects or a true 1C and a 2nd.

  16. Every single team here hangs up the phone laughing. These are hardly even mock trades. Not 1 listed is close to a fair value, let alone would actually be done by 1 or both teams😂
