Remember what happened the last time a Dallas team lost a game 5 heartbreaker in the (conference) Championship Series?

Yes. I remember the doomers then too, just giving up like it’s not a series for a reason. Last night sucked, that’s for damned sure. But I know how this team plays when they are against a wall, and we’re in the exact same position Edmonton was following game three. Obviously, it doesn’t mean we’ll win guaranteed. Far from it. But this team has shown me something, this year especially, and hockey is wild af in general, so literally anything can happen. I still remember when we were down 0-2 to then seemingly unbeatable Vegas in round one and it looked like we were done then. Maybe down the road we’ll go back to never being able to even make the playoffs and the doomers will be happy because they have something to bitch about and a team to quit on because things don’t look good or go our way every time.

Rangers actually fought in game 5 though

Sports are weird. One team can have all the momentum and seem like a lock to win the next game(s) but then fall flat on their face. Hopefully the Stars put up a fight and give themselves a chance

Yeah but the Dallas Stars frauds, Rangers were champions and forever will be. the Stars are FRAUDS!

I mean I cannot lie, this is somewhat encouraging. We all know the Stars CAN play much better than they have been…now they have to actually do it.
