My hate for Trocheck is beyond words. Guy has the biggest shit-eating grin I've ever seen in my life that makes you just want to punch him right in the mouth. The fact that it was him to deliver the dagger to the Canes' Cup hopes is just absolutely infuriating. Canes played a far superior game and still found a way to lose. OT is a literal death sentence for Carolina. It might take 25 minutes of saves by the opposing goalie, but the opponent will eventually score the game-winner, guaranteed. Guess we're not ever getting a cup again. RIP my Canes.

Carolina will be looking to even things up. The Rangers have to shore up that defense. We have got a long way to go to win the Stanley Cup. This Rangers team has won 6 straight playoff games. 6-0. Quite an accomplishment. Trocheck was the man in the right place. Go Rangers.

This guy is the definition of why playoff hockey is so different from regular season hockey. What Trocheck does during the regular season over 82 games isn't ever going to win him any awards. What Trocheck does in a postseason series however is how players become local legends and how jerseys end up hanging from rafters.
