  1. This kid looks like he's going to be really special. I've heard all the hype, and as a hockey fan I hope he's a generation-type player. Still al long way to go, NHL's a tough league.

  2. He has great reaction with everything which is everything in hockey for the superstars-speed is his other virtue!

  3. Kinda sucks this kid is probably going to end up on Buffalo or Edmonton.  Those teams are like a black hole for top prospects.

  4. Oilers get McDavid finally a Canadian team has a top 5 superstar not the yanks.  Suck on that Bettman.

  5. The most mind boggling thing to me is that he ended up with 14 points in 7 games. If some of his teammates could a have buried the gifts he gave him he could have easily had 22-28 points.

  6. What’s crazy is any one of these guys on the ice could murder in pick up hockey even against guys that played junior B and A and that just shows you how great and fast mcdavid really was before he even reached 18 years old.

  7. Little did they know he'd pan out even better then they expected, highest paid player in the nhl, fastest player in the nhl, one of the youngest captains in the history of the nhl, at least 100 points in all seasons where he played more than 70 games

  8. I was watching Mitchkov and Bedard's performances at the u18 as sixteens years old so i decided to compare their performances with the Mcdavid one and man, Mcdavid was on another level. Mitchkov has a knack for scoring goals and Bedard has an impressive wrist shot but they cant compare with Mcdavid, the way he skates and dominates with the puck in his stick is unmatched.
