U.S. NTDP Under-18 center Jake Pivonka, a prospect for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and a Notre Dame hockey recruit, scored his fifth goal of the season during Team USA’s 5-4 overtime win over the Youngstown Phantoms on Nov. 3, 2017. Pivonka’s father, Michal Pivonka, played in more than 800 NHL games.
