Jeff you keep interrupting. Shut up. 😂
what happens if there's a penalty shot but the penalty shot given to offensive player got injured and can't do it ?
Still have a hard time understanding how right at the end of the 3rd period, Mika and Kakko had a 2 on 1, yet the Florida player pretty much dragged Mika down when he did not even have the puck, essentially taking a chance away, and nothing gets called. Anyways, in OT, Mika cannot and I mean cannot make that bad of a pass to Wheeler. If I had to guess, I think what happened is Mika is feeling so much pressure to contribute since Barkov is clearly dominating him in all facets that he tried to make a play that was not there, when he should have just put the puck down low.
I'll say the Panthers have had the play overall bar none, sorry Elliot and should be up 3-1 in Series, Shesty is holding down the Fort.
Listen I’m glad we got the power play but to sit there and not be crapping your pants if barkov gets that penalty shot. Your delusional. I like the odds better with the power play especially how it’s been looking recently but barkov is one of the best in the world when it comes to the shootout
In USA Hockey, all penalty shots have an optional minor, if so chosen by the non-offending team. As a youth ref, I never experienced a team opting for the power play but clearly Maurice was glad for that last night.
Panthers in 6!
that penalty was the very definition of a penalty shot. why no call? this is why nhl reffing is bush league. elliote seems to know a lot about what you go through when getting dumped?
If u go by rules, that penalty in ot was a penalty shot. How is the ref allowed to determine that it wasn't? Mystery to me, as are many rules in nhl.
The answer at 55:48 is completely incorrect.
What the new CBA changed is the treatment of NTCs/NMCs that hadn't kicked in yet. If you had a NTC that hadn't kicked in yet at the time of your trade (you can only have NTCs in your UFA years, so a contract that covers both RFA and UFA years can only have NTC protection in the later UFA years), your new team didn't have to honour the pending NTC. Subban's NTC hadn't kicked in at the time of his trade to Nashville, and Nashville decided not to honour the NTC.
If the NTC or NMC had already kicked in at the time of the trade, though, it would always be in effect going forward.
Now to see if Waddell attempts to trade for Kotkaniemi or was it just Dundon ego tripping on that ridiculous offer sheet. Bet he's glad to be calling his own shots going forward, not being a puppet for a meddling owner.
Freeman needs to watch Barkov shootout highlights
Friedman voice is just destroyed. Ill listen to the next episode.
