FFS please not another defenseman in the first round, we’ve done it twice already

Obviously KA should be working on shopping 11OA for help this season, but wonder what the chances are of simply trading down ? I don’t necessarily object to taking a defenseman with our first pick, but the skill set we need isn’t exactly something we need to be taking in the top half of the round.

Round 2 or 3 guy, super young, 6’4″, decent speed, good puck movement. One of the criticisms is he’s a bit too “stay at home” right now with some untapped offensive potential. Sounds like great upside for a non-1st rd pick (and kinda reminds me of Mo Seider’s pre-draft a bit, albeit a poor man’s version ofc).
