  1. Your getting a good coach. Needs more fire but a nice coach you will have. I am a Leafs fan and if they never win it – I hope Sheldon does in New Jersey!

  2. Sheldon we loved you in Toronto Man !! Best of Luck with the Devils !!! BUT We are now enemies – See you on the ICE !!! GO LEAFS GO

  3. You know Keefe comes across as really calm and soft spoken but there are videos with him getting hot. Which is good….I don’t want a guy who screams all the time… I want a guy that when he screams everyone pays attention because they know he means it.

  4. Sheldon Keefe is gonna get so many easy fastballs from the local media, it’ll be a night and day difference compared to the Toronto/Canadian media. I think he’s gonna love it here in NJ.

  5. Devils will win a cup with him
There’s no doubt in my mind
    He’s a great coach
Scottie Bowman couldn’t get that soft leafs team anywhere. It wasn’t on keefe

  6. You guys are getting an excellent coach and a good human being. I knew him personally when he coached the Marlies and played our former IceCaps here in Newfoundland, as a Leaf fan I feel very happy for him and for Devils fans.

  7. Happy for Sheldon. He did a great job with the Leafs. I think he has more fire and snarl than we think and often wondered if Dubas and Shanahan often kept a bit of a muzzle on him when it came to sending messages to what began as a young core. With the lessons he learned, and hopefully a little more control over that room, I think he will certainly get NJ deep into the playoffs.

And with our luck they will knock the Leafs out in game seven of the eastern final.

  8. Really excited to see what you can do Sheldon! Welcome to Jersey, this team needs some help and I think you're the perfect guy. Highly recommend clearing the assistant coaches out too if you can 😉

  9. Keefe paid for the faulty vision of those above him.
He made the best he could out of a team that as assembled will never win anything.
He will be a wonderful coach for the Devils and I wish the team nothing but growth and future success.
