Boston Bruins offseason outlook
Boston Bruins had a season remember this year why you ask well Brad Marian was named captain which shocked the non Bruins fans Community as they seem to think he’s the dirtiest player ever to La skates they also went into the season minus first battle Hall of Famer Patrice berson and second B Hall of Famer David Cree not only did they not miss a step but Charlie Coyle and pav zaka matched the production from berson and Cree however they matched the output of two of the greatest players ever wether spoke be at the end of their careers though that told me the Bruins needed upgrade at the center position this off season I didn’t even think the Bruins would make the playoffs last season but I’m so glad I was wrong they not only made the playoffs but they also won the first round Series against the Toronto Maple leavs and we all witnessed the emergence of the no doubt about it everyday starter Jeremy Swingman [Music] swinging was the biggest reason the Bruins beat the Leafs in the first round and we haven’t seen that type of playoff goal tending in Boston since tarasque in [Music] 2019 that opens the door for this off season moving on from lenus alar which they also looked into during the trade deadline losing to the Panthers in six was playing with house money as the Panthers look like the better team but the Bruins if they could actually have scored would have beat Florida which brings us to the question what does the future hold for the Boston Bruins Bruins projected cap space is 20.9 million according to cap friendly notable ufas next year Jake de brusk D Heinen Patrick maroon jvr Derek forbert Matt grizzli Kevin shaten kerk now out of those list my guess is they’re going to try and resign de Brusque but if he’s asking too much money I do think they’re going to let him walk hopefully they resign Heinen and maroon has made it that he wants to come back but I don’t know if the Bruins feel the same way jvr forbert grizzli shaton Kirk I have a fun feeling out of those four maybe forber comes back because Monty seemed to like to play them but Grizz shaton Kirk jvr don’t think they’re going to be coming back and the only grizzik that’s going to be part of the Bro organization is his dad now let’s get into the rfas Jeremy Swan I truly think the brunes number one priority is him Brandon busy and yasper bonequest all three I think they’re all coming back what are the br’s biggest needs you ask signing Jeremy Swan deciding what to do about lenus allmark scoring and Center depth let’s start with allmark allmark has a 5 million cap hit until the end of 2025 and a 15 team no trade list it was rumored that he turned down a trade to the Los Angeles Kings during the trade deadline no one ever said what the package was coming back to Boston but the speculation is it involved Pierre luk de because the Bruins needed depth at Center I would think it’ been more than all Mark going the other way for plld but I truly hope it wasn’t for him plld doesn’t feel like a player that would thrive on the Boston Bruins given all the talk about him being bad in the room Elliot Freeman on 32 thoughts reported hearing that the Bruins and hurricanes talked about allmark as well as a trade deadline this quickly led to fans speculating that Martin HS was involved as his as his dad has made it clear that he wants out to Carolina NS is an RFA and is in line for a raise next year he’s 25 years old and got 53 points in 77 games with Carolina last season he’s a scoring winner who does have connections with pasta and zaka as they’ve all played for the national team together my biggest issue is he’s not a natural Center so in my mind he would be a replacement if they couldn’t agree on a new deal with the Bros weeny has already been quoted in saying that in a perfect world the Bruins would keep both goalies Jeremy Swan and lenus Omar during the end of the season press conference at the end of the day I think the Bruins should move on from wmar as he is a former vzan aolie who can bring assets and you have San who has earned the number one spot where he goes is anyone’s guess at this point and honestly it’s kind of up to him with the no trade list I think Don Sweeney will be aggressive this offseason to sh up Center and scoring death and I do believe he will look at the crop of ufas and see if he can add I think he will look at a couple names but in another video I’ll go more in depth so this is just a couple guys that I’m thinking that he’s looking at right off the bat Elias lolm he’s only 29 centerman and in 13 playoff games with Vancouver he got five goals and five assists plus the Bruins tried to acquire him right before the treade deadline but didn’t have the assets to match what Vancouver offered to Calgary he’s been rumored to the Bruins for years and would fit perfect in their system and play top minutes I’m not saying he’s the number one Center I’m just saying out of the crop of ufas right now he is the best center available Freeman on 32 thoughts link linol home as an obvious Target for the Bruins this off season Tyler toley 32-year-old Winger in a five playoff games with wiag he got two goals and to be honest I’ve always wanted him on the Bruins team the guy can score he can bang he’s tough in the corners he’s just for me he feels like the prototypical Boston Bruin Tyler bruzi he’s 29 years old we know what we get from him he got he got one goal and three assists in the series against the Bruins this year for the Leafs but he was great for us in the playoffs last year and I don’t think he’s going to cost too much it is rumored that he does want to go back to Toronto but as everybody knows knows the Leafs right now need to trade Mitch Marner and their cap situation is a disaster Chandler Stevenson 30-year-old Center left shot who played the past five seasons for the Vegas golden knights last season in 75 games he recorded 51 points with 16 of those being goals Vegas last season suffered a ton of injuries so Stevenson played some big minutes down the middle there Freeman on 32 thoughts linked the Bruins to Stevenson as one of their targets this off season Swan okay honestly the guy’s going to be Scrooge McDuck in here he is going to get paid last year he went to arbitration with the team and he was quoted as saying there’s no ill will on the process because I understand that I’m not the first player to go through it and he doesn’t wish it on any of his friends or any of his teammates moving forward and he doesn’t want to ever do it again as well so he’s grateful that he went through it last year was reported that he was looking for more in a range of 5 million plus on a multi-year deal and now looks to get a substantial raise even from that after his playoff and a season performance wouldn’t be surprised if Swan’s number starts with an eight he is the team’s number one priority this summer and it’s to get him signed after his performance last season and in the playoffs it was clear he is the goalie of the future so if I had to wager Don Sweeney is regretting not signing him to a long teal Don Sweeney is regretting not signing him to a long-term deal last summer Sweeney has a history of bridge deals with players so it was no surprise to me when it happened to Swan last offseason let me know in the comments what you think what do you think the Bruin should do who should they trade for who should they sign if you want to see more Boston Bruins content please leave a like And subscribe cuz there’s a lot more to come

So much better than that other Canadian who yells about that team in blue
They over achieved. Better than I thought they would. Good omen imo.
Keep Heinen.
