I have nothing against Scott Arniel, he seems like a really great guy, but this team doesn't need a great guy, they need a complete overhaul. Do you people praising this hire really believe that Scott Arniel is going to get through to this core? They need a shake-up and not one like what happened when four defenceman bailed on the team in 2019. There is no #2 defenceman in the system and no one is going to trade the Jets a top defenceman unless the return is huge.
Wonderful Choice !!I remember as a Teenage Girl when Scott played as a Winnipeg Jets 1981-1986;19901991 at the “ Old Arena”. He did well when Bowness was absent and The guys are familiar with Ariel . I knew the Jets wouldn’t go out and shop for a big name coach. Spent too much money on the duds they acquired for their pathetic playoff run.

Terrible coach .but most of all terrible person .he won't make it through the season .
Fingers crossed this works out. He wasn't my first choice, but there were far worse options. Mike Commodore's opinion means nothing.
I hope the Jets will be able to elevate their playoff game next season and would love to see this team in the cup final the next few seasons!
