you came so close last year to finally do it this year yeah it’s special I mean it’s a special group in that locker room I think the belief never wavered I think we were always kind of in the driver seat in the playoffs and um no more special group to do it with when you get traded here what’s your thoughts and how it ends in the WHL title just excitement um you know I think I saw the roster coming over here and yeah what why why not be excited uh lots of good players on this team and uh I think we came to get came together in a special way and uh there’s no better feeling job’s not done right me cup next yeah exactly I think you know the Western league has has been a little bit uh unlucky or unfortunate in in the me cup the past three years so um you know our group definitely could to try and go uh go win it what’s it been like for you getting immersed in this moo shot crowd this season it’s been awesome um you know these are these are the best fans in the league I’ve never seen you know a team send you off like they have or welcome you back at at one or 2 in the morning like they have and um it’s just been so fun to come to the rink and play in front of them you guys TI a WHL record for most overtime games in a single playoff run what does that say about the resilience of this group yeah I think we’re always in a game um never out of it we always have confidence in ourselves and um you know that Saskatoon series I think it’s the toughest series I’ve ever played I mean two as evenly matched teams as there was and then you know Portland I think it was tighter than the series showed I think they gave us a good fight but um you know at the end of the day I think our group just just had What it Took and uh we played full 60 Minutes tonight that’s m pump his own tires can you help us out with that I mean what’s there more to say than than what’s already said on the media it’s he’s unreal he dominates night in night out he plays 35 minutes a game and um he’s our absolute Rock back there you know when when he goes down or he’s not playing as much as he normally is we’re we’re struggling so you know he’s there’s not much more I can say about him he’s the MVP for a reason he’s uh his best Dem man in the league
