The Stars had a slow first and picked it up after that. This series continues to be really close.

Can’t believe how Stars shot’s so low.. Bet Skinner over 24.5 Saves, just simple fact. Thought Stars would have 30 shots on net.
Stars wouldn’t be in Playoffs still, without Oettinger. Oettinger, definitely a top 3 Goalie.
Born and raised in Dallas and will always be a fan, but I've lived in St. Louis area for 7 years now and been to some games.
I've been flipped off, cursed at and told I should switch teams…
I just laugh. Let's go, Stars!
Both of these series are nasty
I live in Buffalo, ny. I have been a Stars fans since the early 80s when they were still the Minnesota North Stars. I attended 1 North Stars game at the Met Center and 1 Dallas Stars game at the AAC. The North Stars tied the Red Wings, and the Dallas Stars beat the Wild in those games
I'm a Flames fan from Liverpool. I've never been to North America.
Pulling the goalie on a dump-in makes me wonder if everyone on the oilers bench was checking their eyelids for holes.
Oilers in 5
Tanev is an absolute stud! Makes a ton of critical plays in every playoff game! Reliable and tough as nails!!
Shannon pulling out Eddie Johnstone is bananas! A perfect example of how dedicated he is to the sport in general. This man has earned the right to root for whomever he damn well pleases, as he will always be a more committed fan than anyone else in the room. Location does not preclude passion!
Really hoping this is signs of things to come for Downtown Connor Brown. He played hard for the Leafs and I want things to work out for him.
Well I live in Australia and I cheer for the Stars and the Canucks – never been to Dallas in my life.
Go Dallas Go! I'm 48 y/o and I live in Surrey, i'm a long time dedicated Dallas fan, even back when they were in Minnesota. Cheer for which ever team you want to my friend! Love the Dallas jersey you're wearing
I think Wyatt Johnston mispronunciation is the #1 thing that annoys you right now with how often we've heard you talk about it lolol.
Stars fan here but Oiler outplayed the Stars again here especially in the 1st period. Shots on goal 1st period? Dallas better start realizing that this is going to be their end if this keeps up. I still think Oiler wins series as IMO they have outplayed the Stars in both games and just seem to want it more. The only way Dallas wins this series is if Otter drastically outplays Skinner.
ps- I grew up in NW Florida and was then and am still a Minnesota Vikings fan. It was helmet and the Purple People Eaters, loved that helmet, still greatness.
Draisitl is going to look fantastic in a Bruins jersey.
The “yOu’Ve NeVeR bEeN tOo tHe CiTy, wHy ArE YoU a fAn?” stuff is so stupid. I’m a Swede who has never seen an NHL game in person. Been a fan of Vancouver for years though and watched all but like 5 games this season. (They’re usually on at 1-4 am…) Am I not a real fan?
the first Johnstone I thought of was former MLB player Jay Johnstone… who also played in the 80's
I live in Sweden and my favorite team is the Canucks. I have never been in Vancouver and I have zero connection with Canada, but I do love hockey. So yeah it doesn't matter where you live, you can cheer for whatever team you like.
We’d love to have you in Dallas. Hope you get the chance to visit sometime
The last Canucks' home game I was privileged to attend was on my 40th birthday, Saturday, December 17, 2008. Coincidentally, Trevor's number retirement night, and Daniel Sedin's coming-out party. A Vancouver 4 Edmonton 2, result. I attended a Canucks at Leafs blowout, Van 7 Tor 1, at the ACC, in 2005. I have not missed more than a handful of games, watching or at least listening to all of their games since sometime in the late 1980s. It is very possible to be a "long-distance" fan.
You are either grown to cheer for a team, chose for yourself or cheer for your home team
There are people who also think you can't cheer for more than one team. Like grow up I can cheer anyone lol
I've written two books on NCAA hockey and I live for the sport, but this game, like too many others this postseason, was completely unwatchable. It was straight out of the late 1990s Dead Puck Era with no flow, errant passes, and just no room for any offensive creativity. Even elite players like McDavid, Draisaitl and Heiskanen couldn't salvage this game from an entertainment standpoint. It makes me wonder if defensive schemes have finally caught up to offenses in the post-lockout era.
