NY rangers were mailing the puck into the offensive zone. The defence were like quarterback and the offensive player took some real estate in the offensive zone. That was the only way they could defend against this team.
When you don't give the goalie a chance to read the shot quickly, you have a better chance. Goodrow shot it as soon as it hit his stick. Perfect

Not for nothing, Florida offense through 2 games has not been impressive at all, soft 1st goal in game 1, own goal and empty netter, followed by their lone pp goal tonight. Rangers need to keep playing their game, get lucky by not hitting the posts, and they can take the series

I love Igor's remark about Goody. Such a good teammate response. Way to defend your boys Igor's, he knows he can't do it alone and it takes the entire team to help him. Which they've done all year. Goody might not have the points he wants but he stills comes up clutch when we need him and thats why he's still here and why he was out on in the ice in OT
