It's always sad to hear players you call heroes growing up and find out they have struggles just like you but I'm happy he is taking care of himself rather taking his life…

I dated a woman who I found out was bipolar manic depressive and it was not a fun event. Shit got scary and she ended up spending 3 months in an asylum. So I’m glad he’s doing well now for himself and his family.
I knew he came out with this but thinking about it now as an islanders fan he probably was suffering from something during the season. He was injured for some time but maybe instead of being hurt Lou and Trotts were informed he was not doing well in his head and they said he was injured so he could focus on himself. Lehner keep strong if not for yourself for your wife and kids. Always take the time you need is rather see you well of in your mental state over focus on the game
Who exactly is the troll that disliked it already. What is there to dislike? Its a serious issue, going on within a real human, some of us look up to.
As an alcoholic in recovery I really feel for him. To see that he got help and can continue playing in the nhl is a miracle. Good Job Robin , one day at a time.

This man is a legend! in his own way… and as fellow Goalie I guess I can joke about this a bit.. Every one knows goalies are a bit "crazy" and their own breed and He really plays that part to the fullest! God bless him and others how struggle mentally!
