I was skeptical roslovic would sit but he basically got the bench after that horrendous penalty. I’m guessing rempe will be in, cuylle will go back to the third line, and roslovic will be scratched. I remember Roslovic was scratched towards the end of the regular season. Was the also a game against the Panthers?

With all the hate Roslovic is getting, y’all are quick to forget that he was the only Ranger to consistently carry the puck across the blue line against Carolina. IMO Rangers don’t make the ECF without him.
All in all, I have 100% faith in Laviolette and believe he has his finger on the pulse of this team so if he believe Roslo needs to sit, then I fully support that decision.

Roslovic had a rough game 1 so a demotion make sense.
They didn’t do line rushes line they usually do though, so by the looks of it Lavi is playing mind games so who knows what the lineup will look like tonight.
But Arthur Staple reported that it looks like Kakko will be a healthy scratch tonight …

I think all this means is Kakko is a scratch. Roslovic in the bottom 6 white but both Chytil and Kakko in top 6 blue. Lavi has had all year to see what top line Kakko looks like and I don’t think this is where you try it again. I think Kakko might be scratched, Rempe comes in and Cuylle moves back up to 3rd line with Roslovic and Wennberg maybe. Or Kakko for Rempe but still same lines except Cuylle on 3rd

Nothing says top line minutes like being glued to the bench for the entire 3rd period.

IMO they need to let Chytil play 3C. I know he’s bad at faceoffs and he’s a little tentative coming back but he’s shown in the past he’s much better when he’s at center than when he’s on the wing. Put Cuylle at 3LW. We already know his game (speed, big hits, board battles, and net crashing) compliments Kakko’s game and I think it will compliment Chytil’s as well.
Put Wennberg at 4C. He’s been great defensively and already not giving us much offense anyway. Our biggest issue is that outside of the first game of the playoffs our 4th line gets caved in on possession every night. Let Wennberg, Vesey, and Goodrow get the D-Zone starts and hopefully start driving play the other way a bit more.
