I'm old enough to have watched the 1984 Oilers win their first Cup – and all the others. What a time to be alive as an Oiler fan. Not comparing the current team to the 80's team, because there is no comparison. I'm just enjoying the 2024 playoff ride we're on. I hope we can make fools of all the Stars fans who are underestimating the Oilers. They DEFINITELY need McDavid to start playing like McDavid and doing ALL the McDavid things if they're going to challenge Dallas.
I pray Henrique is healthy for this series …we sure could use him!
Dallas in 6. I think their D shuts down Draisaitl and McDavid and their depth wins out. We'll see.

Who would've thunk that bouchard would be the best all around dman in the league in the playoffs. His defensive game has improved astronomical and nobody has stepped up like he has in these playoffs.
I remember people laughing at me when i was saying that they can teach him to be better defensively and now here we are he's played 12 games and has 20 points, and a plus fuckin 10, the highest plus minus in the league thus far.

Stars beat the last 2 cup champs… Kings/ Canucks don't compare. Oilers only hope is Jamie Benn staying in the box (he is capable of that) if Dallas stays out of the box, I don't see a way for Edmonton….. also "Corey Perry scores a goal" 😂😂😂…. I wouldn't hold your breath on that.
Its age shock for me to see three grown men talk about EDM/DAL playoff hockey who have no memory of Dallas excusing Edmonton from the tournament five straight years in a row back in the late 90s/early 00s. Thanks for making me feel old.
The stars were juggernauts . Cujo Modano Smyth doug weight . Those were action packed
totally agree that the third pair is a weakness, but y'all are vastly underestimating thomas harley's defensive game. he's been a bit of a revelation since being paired with miro from an offense-first guy to a really solid defender in his own right
